River cruises
Between March 15th and December 1st you can join our guided river cruises on the Vecht. Our passenger ship ‘Queen of Vechtvalley’ departs from the picturesque town of Ommen and brings you to a historic river lock at Vilsteren. In July and August we pass through the lock each Thursday and take the cruise a bit further to the neighbouring town of Dalfsen, seeing the natural splendour of the Overijssel environment one the way. Our boat is easily accessible for the physically impaired and has all necessary facilities on-board.
Cruise Ommen- Vilsteren (85 minutes)
This cruise brings you to the river lock of Vilsteren and back. A remarkable journey through the Vechtvalley and the stunning Overijssel landscape.
Departure times daily at 1:30 p.m. and 15:00. p.m.
Thursdays in July and August: 2:30 p.m.

Cruise Ommen- Dalfsen (3 hours and 75 minutes for exploring Dalfsen)
Only on Thursdays in July and August. This is an intimate journey to Dalfsen where you will have plenty of opportunity to roam around the local market place. On the way we pass through the historic river lock in Vilsteren. The lock is a one of a kind in that the lockage of boats is still carried out manually. Quite an experience!

Boat rental
Experience the river Vecht with family and friends! Whether you wish to get active and explore the river in a canoe or kayak, or bathe in the sunshine with a good glass of wine on your own motorboat. Steel motorboat
Our steel motorboats are built for up to four people and are equipped with new reliable outboard motors. Our motorboats are ideal to take in all the surroundings at your own pace. The sluice in Junne or the historic Lock in Vilsteren are interesting sights that are reachable in under two hours.

Vechtsloop
Enjoy and explore the stunning surroundings of Ommen in one of our stainless steel sloops. These vessels are suitable for a maximum of six people and are equipped with silent, eight horsepower motors.

E-Vechtsloop
These Vechtsloops are fully electric equipped and are suitable from six up to eight people. The E-Vechtsloops also have a roof for additional shade or to shelter from the rain.

Luxurious E-sloop
In these spacious sloops, which are fitted for up to nine people, you experience the peacefulness of the environment. The electric outboard motor is virtually inaudible. Enjoy the Vechtdal without noisy motorsounds. Equipped with a swimming ladder.

Luxurious E-sloop XL
Enjoy the river with these extra large sloops, holding up to 12 people. These sloops are fitted with a canopy for some shade or to protect you from the rain. As the other sloops, this one is also powered by an electric motor.

Canadian Canoes & Kayaks
Wonderfull canoeing over the Vecht! Discover the beautiful nature of the Regge and the Vechtdal. There are plenty of oportunities to moor and go ashore. Ideal for a short rest or a wonderful picnic.

Unique canoe trip Regge/Vecht
In the morning we take you by minivan to a sluice in the Regge, a side river of the Vecht. After instructions you descent the Regge for 12 kilometres before you reach the Vecht just downstream of Ommen. Because the Regge basin is a protected area, motorized boats are not allowed to enter the river. This enables you to take in all the natural beauty in utter silence. Along the way there are plenty of places where you can take a break to rest your arms and have a picnic on the riverside.
